The purchasing of original art is usually a separate matter from reproduction rights. Whether a fine art piece or an illustration, ownership of an original does not give the owner the right to reproduce the art. In almost all cases, reproduction rights are retained by the artist even after the artwork itself is sold. Many of the works on this web site have been sold to collectors all over the world, but continue to be published in a variety of venues.

Artwork is carefully packaged and is usually shipped matted but unframed. Most of Durga's art is painted on acid-free 100% rag paper.

Payments may be made on an installment basis, but the original will not be shipped until final payment is complete.

Whenever possible, Durga donates a portion of her profits to charity. Her favorite charities include Magen David Adom, the "Israeli Red Cross"; and the Seva Foundation - "a donor-supported non-profit foundation building partnerships to respond to locally defined problems with culturally sustainable solutions throughout the world".
